Our most popular course, the 4 Week Hands-On Grooming Intensive, now comes with the enhanced experience of 12 weeks of online training through igroomschool to give you an in-depth understanding of both the theoretical and practical components of Dogs and their Grooming needs. Drawing on a combined experience of over 60 years between our trainers here at Dog Diversity, this course is guaranteed to get you job-ready. We have handpicked the content and delivery of this course to give you the best foundation possible on which to build your grooming career. With a maximum of only 4 students per course, you are guaranteed our absolute attention for all of your practical training.
Solid Foundations
This course has been developed to enable students who have had no previous experience handling dogs, to master and understand all aspects of basic dog grooming.
Scissoring and grooming techniques, maintenance of equipment, breed clips, shampoo ingredients, coat types, skin problems, head styling, and first aid are just a small portion of examples of the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a professional dog groomer. We cover it all!
Immerse yourself in 4 weeks of online theory before the hands-on portion of the course starts, cementing your foundation of knowledge of dogs and basic grooming terms, before attending 4 weeks of practical dog grooming alongside relevant theory (both in-house and online). After your hands-on training is complete, set yourself up for success with another 4 weeks to complete online theory on more advanced techniques to focus on as you grow as a groomer.
