If you have experience handling dogs and want to develop practical grooming skills, this 10-day intensive course provides the foundation you need to groom dogs safely and professionally.
This course is ideal for vet nurses, boarding kennel staff, doggy daycare workers, and other animal professionals who want to build on their existing handling skills to confidently groom a dog from start to finish.
You’ll learn essential bathing, brushing, drying, clipping, scissoring, and pet styling techniques in a safe, structured, and supportive training environment.

COURSE STRUCTURE
DURATION:
10 Days Full-Time On Campus (Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 3:30 PM)
8 Weeks Online Study via igroomschool (Industry Theory Blocks 1, 2 & 3)
ONLINE COMPONENT:
Begins 4 weeks before practical training
Continues 2 weeks after practical training
Strict deadlines apply
CERTIFICATION:
Upon successful completion, students receive:
Dog Diversity Certificate of Practical Training
igroomschool Certifications for:
(Some students may be eligible for full Industry Certification, depending on competency.)
