Natalie West

After receiving a certification in professional dog grooming from a prominent Industry Master Groomer, Natalie has been a successful professional dog groomer for over fifteen years and has been the successful owner of Doggy Dooz for the past ten years. She possesses a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and has coordinated many training courses at a number of  TAFE Institutions throughout Victoria. This was the inspiration to establish Dog Diversity, a professional dog grooming training school who’s mission is to provide a professional and positive training experience for student and animal. She has successfully produced two Professional step-by-step dog grooming DVD’s which assist the home groomer and students with their studies.  Her passion, talent and drive to provide the industry with skillfully trained groomers has enabled Natalie to produce one of Victoria’s leading Dog Grooming Training Schools.

Rachael Hawkins

Rachael recieved her certification in professional dog grooming from a prominent industry Master Groomer. After establishing herself as a successful and professional groomer, she soon recognised her passion for training. Rachael also possesses a certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Bachelor of  Business Communications Degree. She is currently the head professional dog grooming trainer for Dog Diversity and also teaches Hydrobathing and Dog Grooming for Diploma of Animal Technology, Companion Animal Certificate, Animal Studies Certificate and Diploma in Vet Nursing at Victoria University TAFE.  She prides herself on her systematic, logical and positive training techniques which ensure that both dog and student enjoy their experience.

Maggie Gawart

During her eight year employment with Doggy Dooz, Maggie earned her professional dog grooming certificate.  She has also completed a Diploma in Animal Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. After a number years establishing herself as a talented professional dog groomer, Maggie discovered her passion for training people who want to start their grooming career. Her calm, positive manner and her systematic approach to training has led her to become one of the top trainers at Dog Diversity.

Nina Larson

Nina has been working at Doggy Dooz for 3 years. Before coming to Doggy Dooz Nina studied a Certificate in Animal Studies, and has since completed a dog behaviour and training course. After receiving her grooming certificate from doggy dooz, Nina soon realised her passion for training and has successfully completed a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. Her fun and positive approach to training makes for a great learning environment.

Alicia Boocock

Alicia is our fabulous all rounder, running the front of house at our Salon, while also organising Bookings for Dog Diversity. Being our customer service expert, dog bather and one who also has a hand at grooming, has encouraged Alicia to start her own dog grooming business in her home of Torquay. Travelling every day to Melbourne and keeeping everything running smoothly makes Alicia a valued member of the Dog Diversity team.
