Dog Diversity Professional Dog Grooming Training School offers one-on-one* expert training with qualified, professional dog grooming instructors. This course has been developed to give students the ‘basics’ in dog grooming. This salon-based, hands-on course, is ideal for students who wish to enter the dog grooming world.
At the completion of the course, students will have a basic understanding of the following topics:

- Canine stress, what to watch out for, sensitive grooming areas

- Maintenance of equipment

- Grooming out and de-matting techniques

- Shampoo and canine skin education

- ‘The Theory of Five’ by Melissa Verplank – a step-by-step book on the basics of grooming.
- The Dog Diversity Dog Grooming training manual contains information on animal health as well as useful tips and guides for setting up a salon or mobile van. This detailed training manual provides you with information on running a successful dog grooming business.
